1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is Mainey More, Daniel Borowi, Burggrafenstraße 101, 41061 Mönchengladbach, Germany, email: mail@maineymore.com.
2. Overview and legal bases
We process personal data only as far as necessary to run the shop, handle orders and communicate with you, or where you have consented. Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract), (c) (legal obligation, for example bookkeeping), (a) (consent) and (f) (legitimate interest, for example secure operation of the website).
3. Hosting and shop system (Shopify)
Our shop runs on the Shopify platform. The providers are Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland, and Shopify Inc., Ottawa, Canada. Shopify processes your order, customer and usage data to provide the shop. Data may be transferred to third countries, including the USA and Canada. This is based on adequacy decisions of the EU Commission and, where necessary, standard contractual clauses. A data processing agreement is in place with Shopify.
4. Server log files
When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system). This serves the secure and stable provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Orders and contract performance
For your order we process name, address, email address, phone number (if provided), order contents and payment data (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We comply with statutory retention obligations under commercial and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
6. Payment providers
For payment we use, depending on your choice, Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, credit card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Your payment data goes directly to the respective provider. We only receive the information whether the payment was made. The providers' own privacy policies apply in addition.
7. Production and shipping
Our goods are made to order by production partners in Europe and the USA and shipped from there. To fulfil the contract, we pass your name, delivery address and, where needed for delivery, your email address and phone number to the production partner and the shipping carrier (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
8. Customer account
If you create a customer account, we store your details so that you can view orders and order faster in future (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can have the account deleted at any time.
9. Contact and chat
If you write to us by email or through the chat (Shopify Inbox), we process your details and your message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the messages once the request is dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
10. Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send you information about new drops and offers. Signup uses the double opt-in procedure: you first receive a confirmation email. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. The newsletter is sent through our email marketing provider.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies. We set technically necessary cookies without consent (for example for the cart and security). We set all other cookies, for example for statistics or advertising, only after your consent through the cookie notice (Section 25 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future using the setting in the cookie notice.

14. Storage period
We store your data only as long as the purpose requires. We keep order and invoice data for up to ten years because of legal obligations (Section 147 AO, Section 257 HGB). After that we delete it.
15. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time. An email to mail@maineymore.com is enough.
